E-Procurement (electronic purchasing)

E-procurement is the electronic B2B purchasing of goods by means of digital data exchange. The goals of e-procurement are to accelerate the ordering process and to reduce sources of error. How and to what extent the digital exchange between the supplier and the customer purchasing system (ERP) takes place depends on the data offered and the interface of the companies involved. A punchout interface during the ordering process, for example, enables the transfer of important article and price information from the supplier shop directly into the customer's purchasing system. In this way, the buyer processes the order comfortably without media discontinuity via his own purchasing system. Without e-procurement, order data is usually requested from the supplier and then entered manually into the customer's system. You can read about the advantages of e-procurement and the e-procurement options Gutekunst offers below.

E-procurement offer at Gutekunst Federn

Punchout Interface (OCI / cXML)
Shopping cart

With Gutekunst's Punchout interface, the purchasing programme is directly connected to Federnshop.com and all Federnshop functions (article search, CAD data download, data sheets, calculations and much more) can be called up directly via the company's own management system. After the required articles have been collected in the Federnshop shopping basket, they are then transferred to the company's own purchasing programme via the punchout interface with all the information and prices. The order prepared in this way then runs through the company's internal ordering process in the customer's own administration system. Gutekunst offers two different solutions for the punchout interface, which can be set up within minutes: OCI (SAP) or cXML. The prerequisite for the user is an e-procurement system (e.g. from SAP). Thanks to the punchout interface, the entire procurement process can be handled via the customer's own management system. Further Information

Digital Catalogue Management (BMEcat / CSV / CIF / Excel)

With Gutekunst's digital product catalogue, buyers have access to the complete current article data and prices in their own purchasing programme. By integrating the structured catalogue data into the e-procurement system, Gutekunst article data can be easily selected and transferred to the internal ordering process. Gutekunst supports various formats for digital catalogues, such as BMECat 1.2, CSV, CIF, Excel. After registering at Federnshop.com, users compile the desired catalogue data individually and download it directly in the required format. Afterwards, the current article data can be uploaded by Gutekunst into the purchasing programme for the company's internal ordering process. Further Information
