Endless compression springs in 938 spring sizes for fast delivery from stock made of normal steel EN 10270-1 and stainless steel 1.4310 from Gutekunst. The endless compression springs are made of round spring steel wire in a cylindrical shape with a constant pitch and linear spring characteristic in quality grade 2 (medium tolerance range) according to DIN EN 15800. Simply select the appropriate endless compression spring in the spring shop and order it directly from Gutekunst using the shopping cart.
Endless compression springs catalog range
Endless compression springs in 469 dimensions made of normal steel EN 10270-1 (not rustproof, max. Temperature 80 degrees) in wire thicknesses (d) from 0.12 to 10.0 mm from stock.
Endless compression springs in 469 dimensions made of stainless steel 1.4310 (rustproof, max. Temperature 200 degrees) in wire thicknesses (d) from 0.12 to 10.0 mm from stock.
Endless compression springs are not thermally post-treated. Endless compression springs made of normal steel are lightly oiled after production. The stainless steel endless compression springs are not treated any further after manufacture. The endless compression springs can also be supplied with an additional surface treatment to be delivered. In this case, contact order@gutekunst-co.com .
Winding direction and spring ends
As standard, the endless compression springs are right-wound (clockwise). The length of the endless compression springs is 1000 mm each. The end turns are closed.

Thermal post-treatment
The endless compression springs do not have any thermal aftertreatment to enable the last coils to be easily bent. So that you get a fully functional compression spring from the strand, it should be thermally treated.
thermal treatment > 30 minutes at 300 ° C > cooling by air.
Spring forces
The specified maximum force "Fn" is the spring force that can be achieved with a spring of this size, regardless of the number of turns. The specified values for the spring deflection "sn1" and the spring rate "R1" are theoretical values for a spring of this size with 1 spring coil. Since these values are linearly related for the spring, properties for spring sections can be obtained from them. If the number of turns is different, the theoretical spring rate “R1” must be divided by the number of effective turns “n” to determine the spring rate “R” R = R1 / n . The possible spring deflection can then be calculated by dividing the maximum force “Fn” by the determined spring rate “R” sn = Fn / R .
Spring test
All metal springs are quality checked. This is done in our testing department, which is independent of production. The testing of the compression spring strands offered in the catalog assortment is carried out in accordance with DIN ISO 2859-1 test level II. The simple sample plan for normal tests with test severity AQL = 1.0 is used. If necessary, we can carry out and document all test regulations up to and including individual tests. We offer the following factory certificates for each test item.
Factory certificate according to:
EN 10204-2.1 (DIN 50049-2.1) free of charge
EN 10204-2.2 (DIN 50049-2.2) subject to charge *
EN 10204-3.1B (DIN 50049-3.1B) subject to charge *

Calculation and tolerances
The calculation of the compression spring strands was carried out in accordance with EN 13906 Part 1.
The tolerances for the wire diameter are based on DIN 2076.
