The stainless steel endless compression springs are not treated any further after manufacture. Thermal post-treatment
The endless compression springs do not have any thermal aftertreatment to enable the last coils to be easily bent. So that you get a fully functional compression spring from the strand, it should be thermally treated.

Spring forces
The specified maximum force "Fn" is the spring force that can be achieved with a spring of this size, regardless of the number of turns. The specified values for the spring deflection "sn1" and the spring rate "R1" are theoretical values for a spring of this size with 1 spring coil. Since these values are linearly related for the spring, properties for spring sections can be obtained from them. If the number of turns is different, the theoretical spring rate “R1” must be divided by the number of effective turns “n” to determine the spring rate “R” R = R1 / n . Spring test
All metal springs are quality checked. This is done in our testing department, which is independent of production. The testing of the compression spring strands offered in the catalog assortment is carried out in accordance with DIN ISO 2859-1 test level II. The simple sample plan for normal tests with test severity AQL = 1.0 is used. If necessary, we can carry out and document all test regulations up to and including individual tests. Calculation and tolerances
The calculation of the compression spring strands was carried out in accordance with EN 13906 Part 1.
The tolerances for the wire diameter are based on DIN 2076.
